Vowel Spelling Sort Activity
Directions:
1. Print eggs on colored card stock.
2. Print baskets on white paper and staple together.
3. Cut out eggs and hang around classroom (I just use tape) with BLANK side facing out. Tape eggs upside down so students flip them up and words will be facing right side up.
4. Students read word, find the vowel sound page and write the word on the basket lines or egg lines. Have students circle the vowel sound spelling (ea, a, ey, a_e, etc.)
5. Students can color baskets once complete.
