What is Ramadan The Holy Month?

Ramadan is the month which was revealed in it the Holly Quran. This is why most of people called it the holly month, the mercy and forgiveness month, goodness month, sadaqah month ,baraka month, blessed month and ransoming from fire month.

Ramadan

is one of the famous months of the Islamic months; you can consider it the first famous month in these Islamic months. It is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar. Sometimes its complete month (30 days) or incomplete (29 days), it depends on if they saw the crescent moon in last day of this month or not. (They did same thing every month to know if this month is complete or incomplete month (end of Ramadan ) not just Ramadan).

That’s mean the beginning date of Ramadan month (Ramadan start) is variable every single year (Ramadan dates). Most people make Ramadan calendar as a gift and as method of advertising for their products. When the Hijri year starts every one is looking for the start date of Ramadan The Holy Month.

In fact, Ramadan is great time to practice self-restraint; and the best opportunity to cleanse the body and soul from impurities.

In this holly month, all Muslims around the world they are gathering together to do same things (fasting); it’s Muslim fasting month, refocus attention on God, praying, reading the holly Quran and practice self-discipline and sacrifice.

During the holly month of Ramadan, Muslims all over the world start fasting the whole month. It began from the first day light to the end of day light at night.

Fasting

is abstaining from all kinds of food, drinks, and other physical needs during the daylight hours such as sex or smoking (these things are fully forbidden to do them during the day light time while you are fasting; and you are free to do that after feasting until the end of day night and before the beginning of the next day light). Ramadan The Holy Month it starts

From dawn to sunset. Ramadan The Holy Month is much more than just not eating and drinking; It is a time to purify the soul and to make peace with those who have wronged us. In this month we strengthen ties with our family and our friends; we do away with our bad habits, our bad thoughts and all evil actions -essentially to clean up our lives, our thoughts, and our feelings. Ramadan The Holy Month it comes once every year.

Fasting is the fourth pillars of every Muslim main five pillars which are:

Faith – which is entails believing that ‘There is no God but Allah’ and ‘Muhammad is his prophet’.

Praying – Muslim is to establish five times praying per day while facing his face towards the city of Mecca.

Zakat – is an obligatory and voluntary charity giving every year from rich people to the poor people.

Fasting – Abstaining from food, drink, smoking and sexual relations only during the day light.

Hajj – Pilgrimage to the city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia at least once in your lifetime; it is spiritual quest of submission to God for those who are financially and physically able.

Fasting is not merely physical, but it is total commitment of every Muslim’s body and soul to his god.

For you to know

There is a special permission for every sick one or unable to fast, there are two things to do: he / she can fast another day after Ramadan instead or pay money for poor people to feed them for each day didn’t fast. He / she must do that before the next Ramadan.

Most Muslims like to decorate their shops, streets, offices and houses with lighting, Ramadan lanterns to celebrate this great month; furthermore, all kids like to have new lantern every year.

In the beginning of this great holly month there is mercy, the middle of it there is forgiveness and the end of it there is ransoming from fire. Yes it’s Ramadan The Holy Month.
